On day one, as promised by President Trump, we saw the crackdown on illegal criminal migrants begin. Since the crackdown began, according to public news reports, there have been 2, 373 arrests. On top of those arrests, 1,797 detainers have been requested. A detainer is basically I.C.E. saying to a prison or detention center, "Hey, hold those illegals."
Ignoring the detainers, which are not yet, but will soon lead to I.C.E. arrests we have over 2k arrests. That is in around seven says. There are about 52 weeks in a year. At that pace, around 123, 396 will be deported. Now as stated, currently they are focused on criminal illegals. Before Trump took office, CBP estimated that there were about 17,048 criminal illegals were arrested in fiscal year 2024. Also, according to CBP as of this year, (2025), we are already at 3,007. A slightly higher number than the 2, 373 that the media is reporting as of last. You can see the CBP figures HERE.
According to an NBC article from September of 2024, there were around 13,000 illegals convicted of murder had crossed over our border illegally. Also, around September of 2024, I.C.E. for whatever reason released 437,000 illegals with criminal convictions. This according to the website Border Report. Regardless of this, we are on pace to remove every single one. Especially since I.C.E. and the military are now actively blocking any new illegal entries at the sources. On top of all that, Tom Homan has recently stated that they are just getting started. That efforts will continue to ramp up as weeks pass.
Homan also stated that they will indeed move on to general illegal migrants who broke our laws by crossing. In a recent article I broke down those laws for you.
Meanwhile, Democrat politicians, and the few insane Democrat voters that are left on the left are melting down over the arrests of illegal murderers, rapids, pedophiles, gang members and other criminal illegals. These same Democrats pushed Hakeem Jeffries out to claim that Democrats are ready, willing, and able to secure our border and clean up immigration. A huge lie again as we can all see.
In other immigration news, we watched Trump break the Columbian president after he threatened not to accept migrants. Perhaps the funniest, yet amazing part about it all was that he did so during a round of golf. Columbia will now not only accept the illegals they sent here back, but they will also assist. This was definitely a wakeup call to other nations that we aren't messing around and that a new leader is in charge. Better put, an actual leader is in charge.
