Today, a federal judge has temporarily barred Elon Musk's Department of Government Efficiency from accessing the Treasury Department's payment systems, warning of potential "irreparable harm." The decision came after attorneys general from 19 states sued President Donald Trump and Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent. Early Saturday, U.S. District Judge Paul Engelmayer issued an order restricting access to Treasury payment systems for political appointees, "special government employees," and non-Treasury-assigned staff.
Engelmayer emphasized the risks, stating, "The new policy could lead to the exposure of sensitive and confidential information, while also increasing the vulnerability of these systems to cyberattacks." Along with the temporary ban on D.O.G.E., the judge has ordered D.O.G.E. to destroy all evidence of the corruption until a hearing can be held.
The fraud being found by D.O.G.E. all seems to be spending on left-wing ideologies. Funding for trans studies overseas. A study in which they tortured rats, mice and monkeys trying to better understand transgender weirdos. Millions of dollars in paid subscriptions to left-wing publications. NGO's responsible for the flood of migrants to this country and others. The list is very long. So, it is no wonder that the 19 states that brought the suit. The 19 states are:
- New York (Democrat Governor)
- Arizona (Democrat AG)
- California (Democrat AG)
- Colorado (Democrat AG)
- Connecticut (Democrat AG)
- Delaware (Democrat AG)
- Hawaii (Claims to be Nonpartisan, controlled by Democrats)
- Illinois (Democrat AG)
- Maine (Democrat AG)
- Maryland (Democrat AG)
- Massachusetts (Democrat AG)
- Minnesota (Democrat AG)
- Nevada (Democrat AG)
- New Jersey (Democrat AG)
- North Carolina (Democrat AG)
- Oregon (Democrat AG)
- Rhode Island (Democrat AG)
- Vermont (Democrat AG)
- Wisconsin (Democrat AG)
All of these states are led largely by Democrats and have Democrat AG's. So, it is no coincidence that they would go against the Constitutional powers granted to our president. I am sure there was a conference call with Soros and others laying out demands.
Now, Liberal podcasters are now urging governors to arrest D.O.G.E. staffers, accusing them of staging a coup and insisting they should "go into gangster mode." further underscoring the lefts lack of knowledge in regard to the presidential powers and how the Constitution works. Ironically, the only coups we continue to see are from the Democrats, this being one of them.
Personally, I am hoping that D.O.G.E. disregards the judge's unconstitutional order. You see, presidents have always used outside entities to carry out their orders on some level, throughout history, and nobody was screeching about some sort of Constitutional crisis.
For example, Franklin D. Roosevelt, during WWII appointed private industry leaders and corporations to oversee the production of war materials. Companies like General Motors and Ford were heavily involved in producing tanks, planes, and other equipment for the war effort.
John F. Kennedy heavily relied on private contractors like Boeing, North American Aviation, and Lockheed Martin to develop the technology and infrastructure for the Apollo program to allegedly land a man on the moon.
Ronald Reagan promoted the use of private companies to perform tasks traditionally handled by the government. For example, he encouraged privatization in areas like prison management and military support services. Reagan also appointed the Private Sector Survey on Cost Control (known as the Grace Commission) to identify inefficiencies in government operations. The commission was led by private sector executives.
Bill Clinton’s administration partnered with private companies and non-profits to streamline government operations and improve efficiency. For example, private firms were contracted to modernize IT systems and manage certain federal programs. Apparently, that didn't work out to well given that D.O.G.E. discovered that some branches of government had no ability to send out mass emails across the span of government.
The George W. Bush administration contracted private companies like Halliburton and Blackwater, (now Academi), to assist with disaster recovery and security efforts. The Bush administration heavily relied on private military contractors (PMCs) like Blackwater and DynCorp to provide security, logistics, and reconstruction services.
The Obama administration worked with private tech companies to develop the healthcare.gov website. However, initial failures led to the involvement of contractors like Accenture to fix the site, granting them access to millions of Americans personal data. Obama also used private firms which were contracted to carry out infrastructure projects funded by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.
Joe Biden's administration continued to rely on private companies like Walgreens, CVS, and Amazon to distribute vaccines and manage logistics. Private contractors and firms were also being used to carry out projects under the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law that didn't really seem to create much infrastructure.
Other examples would be things like The Manhattan Project, which was carried out during World War II, where the U.S. government partnered with private companies like DuPont and Union Carbide to develop the atomic bomb. Or when we tried to modernize the post office and various administrations had contracted private companies like Amazon and FedEx to assist with mail delivery and logistics.
But don't let facts get in the way of the narratives that the left is currently pushing. Now that we are contracting an agency that has been put together to expose and end government waste and fraud, it is somehow an issue.
What will happen next, is that this judge will be mocked and laughed at by real judges and Constitutional scholars and most likely will as I stated, be ignored by D.O.G.E. That or the ruling will be overturned. It's really that simple. Another possible step that could be taken is that Congress could vote D.O.G.E. into the government as another temporary agency. To me, that last one needs to happen regardless. Why temporary? Well, that's an easy answer. Because if it became a permanent fixture in Government, it would eventually become corrupted and stop functioning as it was intended to, like most parts of government seem to do.
Beyond that, take solace in the fact that billions of dollars have been removed from our budget that were wasting our taxpayer dollars. Close too 100 billion dollars to be exact, and yet only 1% of the entirety of government had been audited. This is far from over.
